Our worst fears, however expected they were, have come true. As announced by Sony at the Tokyo Game Show last week, Gran Turismo 5 has a March release date in Japan. Polyphony Digital head Kazunori Yamauchi also had this to say about release dates for other countries:
“I don’t think it’s going to be that different for US and Europe,” Yamauchi said. “Marketing is still discussing their issues, which is the reason why a specific date hasn’t been pegged yet for those markets.”
With over 950 cars to choose from (including newly added hybrid and electric cars), over 20 locations with 70 variations of tracks, online play, and all the original content that made GT famous, we say take all the time you need to make the game perfect.
